DJ Galaxy
DJ Galaxy is a highly accomplished DJ, music producer, and turntablist with over 40 years of professional experience in the entertainment industry. His career includes performances for some of the biggest names and events in the Midwest, including Michael Jordan's Birthday Party, Walter Payton's clubs, and the annual New Year's Eve Gala at Villa Oliva Country Club. He has also served as the exclusive DJ for Fox Chicago News and has rocked countless weddings, corporate events, bar/bat mitzvahs, school dances, and proms. A former radio personality and mixshow DJ, Galaxy has been featured on 96.1 "The Lake" (Lake Geneva, WI) and B104.7 (Oshkosh, WI). His skills have earned him major recognition on the competitive circuit as well—1st Place Champion of the 1996 World DJ Competitions and 2nd Place in 1997. He has also contributed to the DJ community as a moderator for WeDJ.com and as a proud member of the World Famous Bum Squad DJ'z. Galaxy has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in music, performing at events with the late Coolio, Vanilla Ice, Petey Pablo, Ying Yang Twins, Lil Jon, and lead singer from Creed, Scott Stapp.
Beginning his journey in the golden era of the '80s and '90s, DJ Galaxy mastered the foundations of DJ culture: vinyl, scratching, beat juggling, and precision mixing. While today's technology—tools like VirtualDJ and MixMeister—has made DJing more accessible, Galaxy continues to honor the roots of the craft. He blends modern software with authentic turntablist technique, keeping the old-school art alive while pushing new-school creativity forward. His versatility on the decks is unmatched. Whether mixing Top 40, Hip-Hop, House, Dubstep, Rock, 80's, 90's, or open-format club sets, DJ Galaxy seamlessly fuses genres into a sound that keeps every crowd moving. When he's not producing original music or refining new routines, you'll find him lighting up clubs across the Fox Valley with his signature high-energy sets. "I always incorporate my turntablist foundation into my sets—tastefully—so the music shines, but the real DJ's in the room know I can cut, scratch, and blend with the best of them." – DJ Galaxy

Sean was so much fun! He kept the dance floor full all night long at my wedding and came out to dance with guests! I have gotten countless compliments from guests about Sean and the party he helped us throw! I highly recommend him !!

We hired Sean based off of a wedding we went to in the past that he had DJ’d and it was a blast. He did not disappoint on our day either!! He is a mix artist so his transitions were great, he read the room really well and kept the dance floor busy all night. He also followed my please play and do not play lists with no problem. Everyone had a blast and he even comes out and shows you his moves too! The ceremony music and timing was also a ten out of ten. Thanks Sean.

This guy knocked all of our DJing expectations out of the park. There wasn’t a single issue with how he did our ceremony music and the dance floor music was INCREDIBLE. Before he even left, people kept telling us how impressed they were that he got out of the dance floor with us a few times and we had a huge group of people dancing til the very last second of the wedding. Literally still talking about how great he was! It’s one of people’s favorite parts of the wedding. My feet are going to fall off today from never getting off the dance floor. Thank you for making our one and only big day so amazing!

Wedding
We absolutely loved having DJ galaxy at our wedding! We were extremely happy with our decision to hire him! We had an original DJ that screwed us over and Sean was so great about everything and stepped right in and helped with whatever we needed to get things back on track for wedding day! We had so much fun and he played the best music to get the crowd happy and on their feet the whole night! Playwd everything for everyone! He even got out on the dance floor too! He was so professional and fun at the same time! We were even offered to keep our wedding hall for an extra hour so as he was going to shut all his equipment down I went and told him and he stayed and kept playing no questions asked! I highly recommend DJ galaxy for any event! He was AMAZING. 5 Stars!
